From the first talent teams in Bemmel to GET United today — a club that has grown step by step, with choices that fit a healthy, sustainable path.

Timeline

  1. A deliberate choice: not yet back to the BNXT League

    Despite a strong position heading into the championship, the club chooses not to enter the BNXT League next season. The board wants any return to the top division to rest on a structural, multi-year footing, so growth across the men's, women's and youth programmes can continue together.

  2. The men's team finishes the regular season unbeaten

    In the Promotiedivisie, the first men's team wins all 18 regular-season games (18-0) and finishes top of the table.

  3. The club continues as GET United

    With new title sponsor Gemini Embedded Technology, the organisation continues from this season onward under the name GET United.

  4. The women's team becomes QSTA United

    After 13 seasons as Lekdetec.nl, the women's team in the Women's Basketball League continues under a new name: QSTA United.

  5. United Basketball is founded

    STBL and TBG Dragons merge into one new organisation: United Basketball. Yoast United (men), Lekdetec (women), the Dreamfields Dolphins and the United Academy youth teams now share one flag and one business club.

  6. The men's team joins the DBL

    Branded Yoast United, the first men's team enters national competition in the Dutch Basketball League for the first time.

  7. Two initiatives find each other

    Sjang van de Wiel joins TBG Dragons. Stichting Topbasketball Lingewaard (STBL), which at the time runs the Lekdetec and Dreamfields Dolphins teams, turns out to share the same ambition — the basis for a later merger.

  8. The first talent teams

    Alongside the existing recreational club Batouwe Basketball in Bemmel, an initiative to form talent teams takes shape. It grows into a new organisation: TBG Dragons.
