GET United respects your privacy and processes personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains which data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
Who is responsible?
The controller for the processing of personal data through this website is Stichting Basketball Community Gelderland (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 61321087), registered at Jan van Galenstraat 48, 6512 HL Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and publicly known as GET United. What data we process and why
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, subject and message. We use this data solely to answer your question and get in touch with you.
- Lawful basis: your consent, given by submitting the form.
- Retention: we keep your message for at most 360 days, after which it is deleted.
- Processor: we use Lettermint to send email. See our cookie policy and “Sharing with third parties” below.
Visitor statistics
This website uses no visitor statistics or analytics. We do not measure how you use the site and do not track you. That is also why there is no cookie banner.
Player data
Player profiles (photo, personal details and statistics) are published only with the explicit consent of the player, or of a parent/guardian for minors. Consent can be given or withheld per item (profile, photo, statistics, press) and can be withdrawn later. Without consent we do not show the data concerned.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. For the contrast setting (default, soft or high) we store your preference in your browser’s local storage. This is functional storage that stays on your own device, is not shared with us or third parties, and needs no consent. Read more in our cookie policy.
Sharing with third parties
We use the following processors, solely to run the website:
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the website.
- Lettermint — sending email from the contact form.
We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- withdraw your consent;
- object to a processing;
- lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Traffic to this website is encrypted over HTTPS.
