All roles on this page are volunteer roles. You contribute a few hours a week, alongside work or study, with room to shape the role your own way — and help build towards the ambition of taking GET United to the highest level.

New Business Manager

You recruit new partners and grow United Basketball's business network. You spot opportunities, approach potential sponsors and develop propositions that fit the club's ambitions — an engine for growth and financial strength.

What will you do?
- Identify and approach prospects, and keep a pipeline of potential partners.
- Prepare and present sponsorship propositions, together with the Commercial Manager and marketing.
- Hold introductory meetings and guide new partners through the start of the partnership.
- Follow business developments in the region and turn them into commercial actions.
- Represent the club at business events.
Who are we looking for?
You are entrepreneurial, energetic and driven by opportunity. You take initiative, are persuasive and know how to open doors in business networks. You are at ease in conversation, think commercially and want to help United Basketball grow.

Business Back Office

You support the commercial team by managing contracts, partner agreements and commercial administration accurately and professionally — a stable base for commercial growth.

What will you do?
- Record partner contracts and agreements and keep them up to date; watch deadlines and activations.
- Prepare and process sponsorship activations.
- Manage partner lists, contact details, invitations and event registrations.
- Prepare documents, presentations and correspondence for the Commercial Manager and the team.
- Check commercial communications for accuracy, together with marketing.
Who are we looking for?
You are accurate, structured and a strong communicator, with an eye for detail and administrative discipline. You like a supporting role but take ownership of the quality of your work. Reliable, organised and professional.

Partnerships Coordinator

You maintain and strengthen our relationships with clubs, schools, community organisations, sports businesses and the Dutch basketball federation (NBB). You connect partners to games, events and community activities, and bring groups of visitors to our home games.

What will you do?
- Keep in active contact with clubs, schools, neighbourhood sports coaches, community organisations and the federation.
- Plan, organise and host groups of visitors at home games.
- Set up programmes such as club nights, youth team of the week and introduction events.
- Work with the commercial team to involve partners in activations, campaigns and events.
- Keep an up-to-date overview of partnerships and give input to marketing & communications.
Who are we looking for?
You are a sociable, proactive organiser who connects people and moves easily through sports and community networks. You build relationships, spot ways to strengthen partnerships and give visitors a warm welcome.

Marketing & Communications Manager

You own United Basketball's visibility, image and marketing strategy. You develop all communication, campaigns and content — online and offline — and make sure games, teams, events and community activities are presented professionally.

What will you do?
- Write the annual marketing and communications plan and manage the content calendar.
- Direct social media, news, the website, press releases and game promotion.
- Direct photo and video productions, interviews and club stories.
- Run season, ticketing and theme campaigns, including partner content for the commercial team.
- Lead the marketing & communications team (social, content, photography, video) and report on reach and growth.
Who are we looking for?
You are creative, strategically strong and passionate about storytelling in sport. You keep the overview, switch quickly, lead a team and produce content yourself when needed. Professionalism, commitment and a feel for the brand are central.

Event Coordinator

You develop, organise and run basketball events: tournaments, camps, regional activities and business club events — strengthening our ties with the region, the business club and the basketball community.

What will you do?
- Devise and run tournaments (youth and senior), camps, clinics and theme days.
- Organise business club meetings and networking evenings with the commercial team.
- Write run sheets, schedules and logistics, and agree hall and equipment use with Operations.
- Coordinate volunteers, teams, participants and external partners.
- Evaluate events and develop the formats further.
Who are we looking for?
You are an energetic organiser and connector with a passion for basketball. You are creative, plan in a structured way and can manage several events at once. Proactive and solution-focused.

You keep the financial administration accurate, timely and reliable. You process payments, run the membership-fee direct debits and support the treasurer in drawing up and monitoring the budget.

- Process incoming invoices and prepare payments.
- Run membership-fee direct debits, follow up reversals and answer members’ payment questions.
- Produce monthly financial overviews for the treasurer and the board.
- Support the budget and annual financial planning; flag deviations and risks.
- Keep the administration orderly and auditable, and watch the deadlines.
Who are we looking for?
You work accurately, reliably and in a structured way, have a feel for numbers and work independently. You flag deviations proactively. The role asks for discretion, integrity and consistency.

Membership Administrator

You keep the registration of all members correct, current and clear. You process changes, guard data quality and support teams and the board with reliable membership information.

What will you do?
- Process registrations, changes and cancellations in Foys and the NBB systems.
- Coordinate player passes, licences and team entries for the competition.
- Inform members about procedures and answer administrative questions.
- Supply membership data for fee invoicing.
- Produce periodic membership overviews for the board and committees.
Who are we looking for?
You work accurately, in a structured way and with a sense of responsibility. You are careful and discreet, communicate clearly, work independently and notice in time when action is needed.

You help build a professional, caring and future-proof organisation. You manage the agreements with volunteers, players, staff and employees, keep the role profiles up to date and look after the wellbeing and engagement of everyone at the club.

- Draft, manage and renew contracts and agreements on time.
- Keep the organisation structure and role profiles up to date.
- Coordinate the recruitment of volunteers and organisational roles, and give newcomers a warm onboarding.
- Organise or support appreciation moments and wellbeing initiatives.
- Help shape the volunteer policy, allowances and codes of conduct.
Who are we looking for?
You are careful, warm and sensitive to how an organisation works. You connect people to the club, work in a structured way, handle confidential matters discreetly and sense what people need to stay engaged.

You develop, organise and showcase United Basketball's community work. Through clinics, school visits, local initiatives and campaigns you connect the club with the region — creating social impact as well as value for partners.

- Develop and run community projects, clinics and campaigns, with an annual plan.
- Coordinate the senior teams’ involvement in community activities.
- Maintain relationships with schools, neighbourhood sports coaches, local councils and community organisations.
- Devise activations partners can take part in, such as theme games and charity moments.
- Collect impact figures, reach and stories and report back to the board and partners.

You are the first point of contact for questions, concerns or reports about inappropriate behaviour. You give players, parents, volunteers and staff a safe, accessible and independent place to turn to: you listen, explain the next steps and refer people to the right help.

What will you do?
- Listen to reports and signals, and discuss them carefully and without judgement.
- Explain the possible next steps and refer people on, for example to the Dutch Centre for Safe Sport (Centrum Veilige Sport Nederland).
- Record reports anonymously and confidentially.
- Inform the board periodically about trends, without sharing the content of reports.
- Help with prevention: codes of conduct, protocols and awareness sessions for teams and volunteers.
Who are we looking for?
