About Gregory

When his family moved to De Voorstenkamp in Nijmegen, there was a basketball court right in front of the house — watching the great ballers there triggered him to want to become at least that good himself. Daily practice, through hot summers and cold, wet winters, until he fell completely in love with the game. As a coach he helps players discover what they're capable of and builds teams where ambition is shared and people make each other better — that starts with investing in conversations about each player's role, strengths and opportunities to grow. On the court, he challenges players to read the game for themselves and make decisions with confidence under pressure. His ambition for this season: compete for the Dutch National Championship with the Women's 1 team, and as Head of Academy pass on as much of his knowledge as possible to the other coaches and help develop their players.
