A wonderful start to the season for GET United’s women! In Katwijk they beat reigning national champions Grasshoppers to win the ’26/’27 Supercup. For the first time since 2017, United gets to celebrate this trophy again.
GET United started the game strongly, taking the lead right in the first quarter. That gave the team the foundation for a fine win. Grasshoppers didn’t give in easily in front of their own crowd and closed the gap several times. Still, United always had an answer ready: the lead was never given away, and the win was never truly in danger.
A debut to be proud of
Kaylee Borden and Natalie Pasco made an immediate mark in their first game for GET United. With 26 points each, they made a major contribution to the win. Kaylee was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game — a brilliant capstone to a strong debut!
The Supercup is back in Bemmel
After the previous Supercup win in 2017, the trophy is back in Bemmel. A great first prize of the season, and a result the whole team, the staff and everyone around United can be proud of. This win brings plenty of energy for everything still to come.
